The Parish Council is made up of enterprising local residents who are elected or co-opted onto the Council. We are all volunteers and our role is to maintain and improve local services, both directly though the annual precept, and indirectly through the local authority and other local administrative units. The Village Hall, Play park, War Memorial, Footpaths, Highway lighting, Road Signage and Planning applications are all areas of parish council responsibility.
Wiltshire Council is responsible for providing and maintaining Education, Social Care, Libraries, Transport, Fire and Public Safety, Housing and Planning decisions,Highway Maintenance, Refuse Collection, Recycling, Waste Management and Council Tax Collection.
Limpley Stoke Parish Council aim to represent the views of the local residents and welcome any questions, opinions or concerns from local residents.
